In an effort to progress through skill-building and confidence throughout the year, the Travel Program is hosting Sunday basketball clinics beginning Apr 16 - May 21, 2023 from 5-8pm at Hereford High School for any girl 3rd-8th grade.

The Hereford Girls Travel Basketball Program is committed to assisting the student athlete in perfecting the fundamentals of the basketball game. Our Mission: to help young ladies build character by: - Providing personal skills development through hard work - Developing good sportsmanship - Building confidence; and - Believing in one another within a fun and challenging environment In an effort to progress through skill-building and confidence throughout the year, the Travel Program is hosting Sunday basketball clinics beginning Apr 16 - May 5/21 from 5-8pm at Hereford High School for any girl 3rd-8th grade. Grades 3rd-5th: 5-630pm Grades 6-8th: 630-8pm There will be a portion of each session dedicated to skill development such as shooting form, passing, ball handling and defensive footwork/positioning. Additional time will be made up of competitive games and scrimmages in the form of 3v3, 4v4 or 5v5 to develop game sense, spacing and working as a team. Groups will be divided into novice and advanced players for appropriate development and challenge. Cost for the entire session is $35/girl. Cash or check (made payable to Hereford Zone Rec & Parks Council) must be submitted at the first attended session.

Please go to the Hereford Rec website at www.herefordrec.org and scroll to the bottom to find the waiver which you will need to fill out and bring to your first clinic. Also please bring a light and dark shirt to each clinic for ease with team assignments during scrimmages. Sign up is requested so that organizers can better prepare each week's schedule.
